Publish
To commit any changes to an Election, they must be published using this tab. Additionally, you can start, pause, and stop individual Elections here.
All publications and their respective changes can be viewed in the table using the "eye" icon.
Table Options
- Columns: Enable or disable specific columns for display.
- Add Filter: Create text filters for the table by column.
Actions
- Start Election: Begin the Election.
- Pause: Temporarily halt the Election.
- Stop Election: End the Election.
- Publish Changes: Apply any changes to this Election.
Publish Changes / Preview
Changing settings in the Admin Portal will not apply them until they have been published. Publishing changes is done by selecting Publish Changes in the Publish tab.
Steps to Publish Changes
- Select Publish Changes.
- Enter your password (sensitive operations are password protected).
- Review the changes.
- (Optional) Select Preview to open the Voting Portal changes in a separate tab (per Area).
- Select Publish Changes again to apply the changes.
Additional Actions
- Regenerate: Regenerate the diff files.
- Export: Export the diff files.
